Service Description

Join us for an exciting and educational session at Bexleyheath Library! Our "Mini First Aid" event is designed for children aged 5-10 who are in mainstream school providing them with essential first aid knowledge in a fun and interactive way. During this event, we will cover:- + Calling for Help + Learn how to get help and call 999 in an emergency. + What's in a First Aid Kit - Discover the items in a first aid kit and their uses + Allergies + Bites & Stings: + Understand these common conditions and how to respond to them. This hands-on workshop ensures that children leave with practical skills and confidence to handle emergencies. Cancellation Policy

Our aim is to make it as easy as possible to learn first aid with Sirens & Sparkles First Aid CIC 1. CANCELLATIONS If you wish to make a change, reschedule, or cancel a course you have booked, please contact us 72 hours before the start of the course, to allow us time to make amendments. You can contact us by writing to us at Training@sirensandsparklesfirstaid.org. Please provide your name, address, details of the booking and, where available, your phone number and email address. We will let you know if the change is possible and ask you to confirm whether you wish to go ahead with the change or cancellation In the case of cancellation: • 72 hours or more before the session date and time o Full refund • Less than 72 hours o Refund 50% • Less than 24 hours o No refund (if course either Free or Donation only – you will be invoiced £25 per person) NON-ATTENDANCE If your child does not attend a scheduled course without prior notice, a non-attendance fee of £25 will be invoiced to you. This fee must be paid in full within 30 days from the date the invoice is issued via email. Exceptions may be made in the case of a medical emergency involving the child or parent/guardian that required urgent medical treatment. In such cases, supporting evidence (e.g., a hospital or GP letter, appointment confirmation, or prescription notice) may be requested. In all cases, notice of cancellation must be confirmed in writing addressed to the contact details on the terms and conditions. 2. UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES In the event that we need to make significant changes to the training course or these terms we will notify you and you may then contact us to change the date of the booking or transfer the booking to another date at no cost. 3. SAFEGUARDING To ensure a safe and focused learning environment for all participants, parents and guardians are not permitted inside the training room during sessions, unless there is an emergency. Parents/guardians are welcome to wait outside the training area or leave the premises during the session. In the event of an emergency or any issue requiring your attention, we will contact you immediately using the phone number or emergency contact details provided on the booking form.
