A supportive and engaging introduction where children explore new skills, build confidence and begin their first aid journey through play.

Sea Turtles (Ages 5-10)

Children usually complete the full Sea Turtles journey over several years, at a pace that works for them.

All Sirens & Sparkles clubs are inclusive, supportive environments where children learn at their own pace and feel safe, valued and encouraged.

What Do Sea Turtles Do?

Sea Turtles are the first stage of the Sirens & Sparkles journey, designed for children aged 5–10.

Sessions focus on building confidence, developing friendships and introducing important life skills through fun, structured and supportive activities.

What Sea Turtles Explore?

Sea Turtles explore a range of fun, engaging activities that build confidence, curiosity and early first aid skills.

Sea Turtles begin learning simple first aid skills, including how to help someone who is hurt and when to ask an adult for help.

Children learn about the important people who help keep our communities safe, such as paramedics, firefighters and police.

Milestone Awards for Sea Turtles

Sea Turtles celebrate their progress by earning milestone awards as they complete badge subjects and develop new skills.

Each child progresses through four stages during their time in Sea Turtles:

  • Stage 1 – 3 badge subjects

  • Stage 2 – 6 badge subjects

  • Stage 3 – 9 badge subjects

  • Stage 4 – 12 badge subjects

Children typically complete 2–3 badge subjects per year, allowing them to build confidence gradually and complete the full Sea Turtles journey over time.

The Sea Turtles club is designed for children aged 5–10 who are beginning their development journey with Sirens & Sparkles.

It provides a safe, supportive and engaging environment where children can build confidence, make friendships and develop important life skills at their own pace.
